With our 40 foot tilt trailer we are able to load and unload shipping containers without the use of heavy equipment. My husband and I, both combat veterans, fell in love with the trucking industry. It gave us a sense of purpose after we served our country. That purpose, get the load there on time and in the same condition that it left the shipper. After years of my husband being a company driver, we got tired of the demand that comes with working for someone. “Work harder, work longer, here’s a few pennies to my dollar.” Finally, we both had had enough of the missed time and moments with our family together. So we decided to start our own company, so that we could schedule both our life and my husbands working time together. Not around his ever changing schedule. With decades of experience in the logistics industry, we are dedicated to delivering reliable and efficient transport solutions. Meet The Battle Ready Team
With life being so crazy now, I have to sit back and remember everything that has happened to bring me to where I am today. I never would have guessed that I would would be a wife, mother and business owner. Watching my husband work day and night for someone that’s ready to get rid of him the minute they can, I realized I was ready to help him live his dream and start his own company. Being a class A CDL driver myself, I figured that we could handle this. We quickly found out that we had a lot to learn. Thankfully between serving in the military and being a mom, I have gained the experience and skills to help us on our journey to grow this amazing company. The days can be long and sometimes it seems like the hurdles just stack up all around us, but no matter what comes our way I know we will be ready for the Battle!

While serving in the military, I was lucky enough to meet my beautiful wife and travel around the world. After we both moved on from the military, we worked towards having a family and careers. After a few years of working all kinds of jobs, I decided to get my Class A CDL and finally found a job I truly enjoyed. While I was driving over the road, my wife decided to get her CDL so I shifted to a home daily driving position while she got the over the road experience needed so we could one day run teams. My wife and I were blessed with our amazing daughter and I knew it was time for both of us to shift to local jobs to be home more often. Years later and tired of dealing with management that only saw me as a number that could be replaced, I decided it was time to follow a dream I had for many years, and with the help of my wife and family that dream has come true.

One thing I learned after service in the military is to always stay motivated. I am continuously learning what makes the best professional working relationship. Customer Service is my #1 priority and one thing I have learned working with Battle Ready is that they do not mess around with customer service and focus 100% on proper care of anything attached to their trucks and vehicles.
